CONGRATULATIONS to our 2011 Cheer and Football participants on another strong performance and fun year. Our kids have performed well on and off of the playing field. 

Even though all of our athletes are winners, here are some of our accomplishments for the 2011 season:

•  Junior Pee Wee: (Team: White):  Division III Northwest Midget Pop Warner League Football Champions
• Pee Wee: (Team: Blue):  Division II Northwest Midget Pop Warner League Football Champions
• Junior Midget:  Division II Northwest Midget Pop Warner League Football Champions & Mid South Regional Champion Runner Up
• Midget (Cheer Team):  Northwest Midget Pop Warner League Cheer Champions Runner up & placed 13^th at Pop Warner Nationals in Orlando, Florida.
• Junior Pee Wee (Cheer Team): Placed 3^rd in local competition.

• Saturday, March 17^th 

10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.:  1st Sign up for all participants ****Will receive a $25 discount for early registration ONLY with completed paperwork and payment in full.  Only exception is Physical & FINAL report card.

• Saturday, April 21st

10:00 a.m. until 3pm: 2nd Sign Up for all participants

• June and July:

Applications will be accepted at all football camps.

                                                   2012 Fees:  

Due at sign up. Parent(s) or legal guardian must be present at sign up. All Fees include a trophy as well as the rental of the uniform.  The football players keep 1 of their jerseys & cheerleaders keep their shoes, bloomers & hair bows. 

Flag Football: $ 125

Tiny Mite Football: $160    Tiny Mite Cheer: $135     

Tackle Football & Cheer: $185 

• Family Discount: $25 per additional participant

• February & March registrations will be offered a $25 discount only with full payment

**If you have outstanding equipment/uniforms you will not be able to register or be released to another organization until all items are returned or paid for. Registration is on a first-come, first serve basis.  No one will be placed on a team until ALL paperwork is FINAL!  If the team or squad is full before you turn in all your paperwork your child may not be added to the roster.

The Pop Warner Regular Season typically runs from August 1^st – October 15^th.  Some teams may play / compete through early December.  This will depend on playoff / competition advancements and Bowl games.  Practice is from 6:00 p.m. through 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday* or Saturday** (*Football Only / ** Cheer Only).  Once school starts we practice 3 nights a week from 6:00 p.m. through 8:30 p.m  The first game will be within the last week of August and we play for 8 consecutive weeks.

The mission of Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. is  to enable children to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this active participation, Pop Warner programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives.  Locally, the KERNERSVILLE RAIDERS organization believes that youth sports is a great opportunity to enhance the lives of future adults by teaching them how to be competitive while at the same time nurturing life skills: being responsible and accountable, focusing on teamwork, setting and meeting goals, being a leader but knowing how to follow, reaching their full potential, and developing character and integrity.
