Participation in basketball activity involves risk of personal injury.  There will be a co-ed three day basketball camp held at KCA Monday December 21 to Wednesday Dec 23 for players Grade 2 to 12.Grade 9 to 12 is for girls only.

Who: Girls and Boys

What: Grade 2 to 4

When: 9 to 1 pm (M, T and Wed)

Where: KCA

Cost: $30 (4 hours) a day or $75 (12 hours) for three days

Who: Girls and Boys

What: Grade 5 to 8

When: 1 to 5 pm (M, T and Wed)

Where: KCA Cost: $30 (4 hours) a day or $75 (12 hours) for three days

Both of these sessions will be led by Dave Harris and friends and will focus on individual skill development. Dave will build from the feet up, and keep the participants active and energized.

What : Grade 9 to 12

When: 5 pm to 8 pm (M, T and Wed)

Where: KCA Cost: $ 20 (3 hours or per session) or $50 (9 hours) for all three

Format Monday and Tuesday Emma Duinker is a CIS All Canadian, All Time Leading Scorer for Axewomen, Professional Basketball Player in Europe and an Instructor at the Point Guard College. Emma will lead Monday and Tuesday night. Emma will introduce a number of finishing moves, offer some high performance messages and will be involved in on court scrimmages. During the scrimmages she will be an active participant and be an on floor coach. She will promote active communication and will demonstrate this during the scrimmages. Emma will also lead a number of high performance ball handling sessions where players will be encouraged to match her intensity level. Emma developed her game as a young player by spending time in the gym and outworking other players.

Abbey Duinker is an AUS All Star and will be arriving home from playing professionally in Europe on December 20. Abbey will also be involved M and T night and if absent of any injuries, she will be involved on court as well.

Wednesday Parker Reagan will lead Wednesday night. Parker is a High Performance Coach with Thunder Selects and is also the Head Coach at Kings College. Parker has been a visiting Coach on numerous occasions and his sessions are always fun and interesting. He will focus on some attacking progressions and throw in some fun twists and turns with scrimmages and games. Parker is also on the hunt for girls who may be looking at playing basketball after high school and are considering attending College.
