The Crush 10U team faced off this weekend at the Expressway Park USSSA Pre-Season World Series Qualifier against some of the toughest competition in the region. To say that the Crush was impressive would be an understatement. They played 5 games against 4 of the top teams around the region and played very well making it all the way to the Championship game. In the championship game, they played their way to a tie which resulted in an international tie-breaker. Even though they fell just short in the tie-breaker they battled, played with heart and determination and Coach Morrow, the other coaches, administrators and parents are all VERY PROUD of their accomplishment. Every player on the roster contributed with great hitting, fielding, and pitching. Great Job on the 2nd Place finish! It looks like it will be another great season for the Crush. Go Crush! The results of the tournament are below:
Pool Play:
Game #1 - Cincy Slammers 3, Crush 2
Game #2 - Crush 8, Cincy Static 9U 0
Bracket Play:
Game #1 - Crush 17, Cincy Slammers Blue 2
Game #2 - Crush 3, Cincy Static 10U 0

The game was close until the end, when the Crush pulled away and secured the victory. Next up for the Crush was Notre Dame. After Notre Dame defeated Northwest, the Crush faced Notre Dame for the Championship. The Notre Dame team brought their bats with them this game scoring 5 runs but that wasn't enough as the Crush outscored Notre Dame to win the championship.
