Memorial Day Tournament

There was lots of great competition at the Duster Memorial Day Tournament.  The Duster's took first place in their division of pool play but were eliminated in the semi final by the Kennewick Bandits.  The final came down to the Kennewick Bandits versus the Richland Knights.  It was the Richland Knights that walked away with the title.  Congratulations.

Grant Richardson hired as Duster's Assistant Coach!!

Grant started his baseball career in the Tri-Cities.  He graduated from Richland High School in 2001, winning a state championship with the Bombers in 1999. He played on the first Titans team in the summer of 2001.  After high school, he earned a scholarship to play baseball at Washington State University.  After three years with the Cougars, He was drafted in the 14th round by the Milwaukee Brewers.  His five-year career in professional baseball took him all around the country, literally from coast to coast and border to border. Grant's experience will be a great asset to Coach Barnes and the Duster program!  Coach Barnes and the Dusters are excited about Grant joining our team!
A few words from Grant:
I have learned a lot about the game of baseball and I hope to share as much as possible with the young players of today.
I am excited for the opportunity to help coach a great group of kids in such an outstanding program and community.

Dusters have a new Head Coach/Team Manager

We would like to announce David Barnes as the new Duster Head Coach / Team Manager.  David started his baseball career right here in Kennewick.  He was a 1990 graduate of Kamiakin High School and played for both the Jr. and Sr Duster programs.  He went on to play college baseball at YVCC and then onto the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers.  Upon finishing playing David immediately started his coaching career as an Assistant coach with Tacoma Community College while also coaching a few different Connie Mack and Babe Ruth summer teams.  His passion for baseball and coaching is evident as soon as you talk with him.  Under his direction, we can expect great things from our Dusters Players.  Welcome aboard Dave.
