Welcome to the Kennewick Babe Ruth League website.Kennewick Babe Ruth is a recreational baseball league for ages 13-18, located in Kennewick, WA. We are composed of three divisions; 13 Year Old, 14-15 Year Old, and 16-18 Year Old (Senior). Click on the calendar link (left margin) for a complete schedule of events including registration, tryouts, umpire clinics and game schedules. Access other information using the links in the left margin. Tuesday, May 6 2008 Season Welcome to another exciting year of Kennewick Babe Ruth Baseball. The season gets under way this Saturday, May 10th with a full slate of games. The top four teams from the 13' and 14-15's will have a mini playoff on Saturday, June 21st, to determine league champions. All Stars will begin shortly after season play has finished. Babe Ruth League Coaching Certification Requirement
Coaches and perspective coaches as some of you are aware and some may not be Babe Ruth League Inc has instilled a mandatory coaching certification program this year. This certification will be required of all head coaches for regular season teams and all coaching staff members of the post season teams. I know it is only December, but spring will be here before we know it and I encourage everyone that is interested in coaching to take to certification program. Kennewick Babe Ruth has offered to reimburse you for the course upon your providing us a copy of the certification. The cost of the course is $20.00. You can sign up for the course at (www.baberuthcoaching.org). It is an online course to be done at your own pace. If you are interested in becoming a manager or coach for the 2008 season, please fill out the coaching application listed below. Saturday, August 18 Kennewick finishes 3rd at 13 Year Old World Series The Kennewick Babe Ruth 13's finished 3rd in the Babe Ruth 13 year old World Series.
