Welcome to the NEW site for Kelloggsville Little League. We work hard to make sure your experience with us is a memorable one. Come join us for fun and good competition.
*NEW!! Available for 2009 - Kelloggsville Little League Spirit Wear * Rose Embroidery of Wyoming is offering some incredible and affordable Warm-Ups, Hoodies, and T-Shirts for players, parents, and fans. Check out the "HANDOUTS" section on the menu to the left.
Unfortunately our teams are full and rosters are set. We would like to thank all that participated in registration activities and worked so hard to get as many children signed up as possible. On occasion a roster spot will become available due to unforseen events. ANY parents wanting their child to be placed on a contingency roster please contact Michelle Martin via email.
On May 16, Kelloggsville Little League gathered at our 44th St facility for the annual Picture Day. We were visited by "Red", the mascot of Red Robin restaurants and kicked off our candy fundraiser. We are also pleased to report that nearly 80 pounds of food was collected for the Wyoming Food Bank. KLL is pleased to make this contribution to our neighbors, and wishes to extend a sincere "Thank You" to our families for their contributions and kindness. We will have more opportunities throughout the season to support this wonderful endeavor.
Please keep our weather policy in mind. Kelloggsville Little League does NOT practice or play when temperatures are below 40 degrees or when rain prohibits safe play. We do NOT practice or play under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in our area, as well as a Tornado Alert. In the event of inclement weather all players SHOULD report to their assigned field and a gametime decision on play will be made. Coaches are NOT allowed to cancel games without authorization from a League VP or the League President. Likewise any games that need to be rescheduled MUST go through the League President. Feel free to contact Jim Kies or Tony Powell for questions regarding our weather policy.
Parents please keep in mind our Candy Fundraiser for the 2009 Season. This fundraiser will be used exclusively to fund our end of season picnic at Craigs Cruisers. The candy sale is the same as last season with a couple of exceptions. We are limiting the sale of candy to TWO boxes initially until everyone who wants a case gets one. Once everyone has had opportunity to purchase one box at the league price of 40.00 (which you CAN recoup by selling each bar for 1.00) and an additional box for 25.00 (which allows you to make 15.00 profit that YOU get to keep), additional boxes of candy will be made available to everyone for the cost of 25.00. There is no limit to the number of boxes you can purchase. In the unlikely event we sell out of candy at picture day Kelloggsville Little League will deliver candy to you at your son or daughter's game. Any questions can be directed to Tony Powell or Jim Kies.
