Kearney Lady Dogs Soccer: Welcome

Welcome to the Kearney High School Lady Dogs soccer team website sponsored by Kearney Soccer Boosters.

Spring 2014-2015 The Lady Dogs 2015 Spring soccer season begins on Friday March 20th at Fort Osage.

Kearney wins season opener, beating Fort Osage 5 to 0. Madi Payne opened up the scoring, Ashley Coonfield, Elyse Kelly and Lexie Howard with 2 goals provided the scoring.

Spring 2013-2014

Lady Dogs lost Class 2 Championship game 2 to 1 in double Overtime. Spring 2012-2013 Kearney completes a 26 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie. coaches vote Kearney #2 in Class 2. ESP Soccer has Kearney ranked 3 23 in nation.

Kearney finishes third with a 0 to 0 tie with Rosati Kain.

Kearney suffers first loss of the season. St Dominic beats Kearney 2 to 1 in double overtime.

KHS wins quarterfinal game 4 to 0 over Notre Dame de Sion.

Kearney wins sectional beating Smithville for the second time this year. Allie Hess and Ashley Coonfield each scores a goal in the 2 to 0 win. 

KHS wins district beating Liberty North 5 to 0.

Kearney opens district play with a 10 to 0 victory over Van Horn. KHS will play Liberty North Wednesday at 4:30 in Excelsior Springs for the District Championship.

KHS beats Raytown South 10 to 0 on Senior Night as the Bulldogs finish season 21 and 0. JV won 9 to 0.

Kearney gets revenge from last years playoff game with a 4 to 1 win over Park Hill South.

KHS beat Platte County 4 to 0 tonight.

Kearney wins second straight game 10 to 0 as they beat Grandview for the second time this year. JV also wins 10 to 0.

Lady Dogs varsity beat Raytown South 10 to 0 and JV won 5 to 0.

KHS beat Blue Springs 2 to 0 last night. KHS JV tied Blue Springs JV 0 to 0.

Lady Dogs win second game in Blue Springs South Tournament 1 to 0. JV beat Smithville 8 to 0 and will play Blue Springs South on Thursday in the final game.

Lady Dogs beat Park Hill for third time this year 2 to 0 in Blue Springs South Tournament. JV won their first game in the Blue Springs South JV Tournament 1 to 0 against Park Hill.

Lady Dogs beat Oak Park 4 to 0. KHS will play in the BSSHS soccer tournament next week.

Kearney beats Platte County 1 to 0 on a very cold night.

KHS wins 3 to 0 against Winnetonka.

KHS beats BSSHS 3 to 1 for their win of the season.

Lady Dogs wins Heart of America Tournament beating Lee's Summit West 4 to 0. Great win after the long 100 minute game yesterday.

Lady Dogs beat Tulsa Union in PK's. After being tied 1 to 1 after regulation the girls played 2 10 minute scoreless overtime periods and then had to go to PK's to win. Kearney wins PK's by a 4 to 2 margin. Kearney will play Lee's Summit West for the championship at 9 am. 

Kearney wins first game of the Heart of America Classic by beating Denver East from Denver Colorada 3 to 1. Kearney will play Tulsa Union at 2pm Friday in the first semi game. Lexis Howard had 2 goals and Allie Hess had 1 for the Lady Dogs.

Kearney shuts out Grandview 13 to 0 after 40 minutes. JV wins 10 to 0 as game was also stopped.

Lady Dogs beat Park Hill for the second time this year. Ali Hess led Kearney with 2 goals in a 6 to 0 victory. Jv suffers first loss of the year by a last minute goal losing 1 to 0 to Park Hills JV. Next game is Wednesday April 3 at KHS against Grandview.

Kearney wins 4th game of the year beating Staley 5 to 2. JV also won beating Staley's JV 3 to 1.

Next week Kearney will play Monday through Saturday. Lady Dogs will play Staley at the DAC on Monday, Park Hill Tuesday, and Grandview Wednesday at Kearney. Thursday Kearney will play in the Heart of America Classic Tournament at Lee's Summit West High School against Denver East High School from Denver Colorado at 3PM. Friday and Saturdays games depend on the results of the Kearney vs Denver East game.

Kearney plays first game on the new turf field and wins 10 to 0 against Liberty North. Game was stopped with 29 minutes left in second half. Ali Hess leads Kearney with a hat trick. JV won their game against Liberty North 3 to 0.

Kearney's home opener today Thursday March 28 against Liberty North. JV starts at 5 pm followed by Varsity at approximately 7 PM.

Game against Platte County cancelled due to weather. 

Game against Oak Park cancelled due to weather.

Lee's Summit tournament game against Columbia Hickman was cancelled due to weather. Kearney is the lone undeated team in the Lee's Summit North division.

Kearney wins second game of the year 3 to 0 against Park Hill in the second game of the season.

Kearney beat Lee's Summit North High School 5 to 0 for first victory of the year. Kearney will play Park Hill on Wednesday March 20 and Columbia Hickman on Thursday March 21st in the Lee's Summit High School tournament.
