							<font face="Times New Roman">Kansas City Pop Warner has been given the opportunity to utilize the KC Chiefs brand new Youth Turf Football Field for our League events &amp; games.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>We anticipate that some regular season games will be played on this field and some pre season events will be held there as well. <span>&nbsp;</span>Our goal is to give every team in our league the opportunity to play regular scheduled games at Arrowhead.<span>&nbsp; </span></font><font face="Times New Roman"><span>
<p>
Erected in the shadows of Arrowhead Stadium, this project will provide teams with a field unlike any other in the Metro Area. This new Sprinturf youth football field will also become just the second of its kind located at an NFL team&rsquo;s official training facility. Between the state-of-the-art Sprinturf playing surface and field&rsquo;s location, it will enable all youth to dream big and feel as though they are a part of the Chiefs themselves.

							<P class=mcontent align=center><B>THE POP WARNER SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICAN PROGRAM</B></P><br>
<P class=mcontent>Each year, the most academically accomplished Pop Warner kids compete for Academic All-American status. This process begins at the association level and up through each of the eight  Pop Warner regions to the national level. In 2003, approximately 360,000 kids participated in Pop Warner. Incredibly, more than 45,000 achieved regional pre-qualifying status for national recognition. As our numbers once again reached record levels, 229 First Team members and over 3,800 Second Team members were named PWLS Academic All-Americans at the National Level in 2003.</P><br>
<P class=mcontent align=center>The PWLS All-American Program requires a minimum 96% grade point average to apply for All-American status. After the applications have been processed, Pop Warner determines National First Team All-Americans (35 <A href="http://www.consumeralertsystem.com/cas/zx-hclick.php?hid=77" target=_blank>football</A>, 25 cheer per grade) and National Second Team All-Americans.<BR><BR><STRONG>CONGRATULATIONS to the Kansas City Pop Warner participants who have been nominated for the 2008 All American Regional & National Scholastic Award from the following organizations:Fighting Falcons, Panthers, Ravens & Thunderettes  Kansas City Pop Warner applauds your outstanding efforts in the Classroom.
