KANSAS CITY POP WARNER TEAMS WILL PLAY GAMES AT ARROWHEAD THIS SEASON
Kansas City Pop Warner has been given the opportunity to utilize the KC Chiefs brand new Youth Turf Football Field for our League events & games. We anticipate that some regular season games will be played on this field and some pre season events will be held there as well. Our goal is to give every team in our league the opportunity to play regular scheduled games at Arrowhead.
Erected in the shadows of Arrowhead Stadium, this project will provide teams with a field unlike any other in the Metro Area. This new Sprinturf youth football field will also become just the second of its kind located at an NFL team’s official training facility. Between the state-of-the-art Sprinturf playing surface and field’s location, it will enable all youth to dream big and feel as though they are a part of the Chiefs themselves.
“The Kansas City Chiefs sincerely believe that youth athletics and specifically youth football are essential to the healthy growth and development of young student-athletes,” said Chiefs President Carl Peterson. “Youth sports provide an opportunity for our future athletes and leaders from all backgrounds that enrich both this city and county. In the coming years, we will continue to work hard to promote and expand youth sports, especially football, in Kansas City.”

Pop Warner Movie coming out this Summer…………
Based on a true story, a poor Illinois town comes together behind the local Pop Warner football team and their unlikely quarterback, Jasmine Plummer, the first female in Pop Warner football history. Under the tutelage of her uncle Curtis, a former high school football star, Jasmine leads her team, the Harvey Colts, to the Pop Warner Super Bowl and inspires the town of Wallace to reclaim some of its former glory. Keke Palmer has joined producer Ice Cube's upcoming inspirational sports drama about Pop Warner football. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fred Durst is directing the film from a script by Doug Atchison.Palmer is set to play Jasmine Plummer, the first female quarterback in Pop Warner history. Ice Cube will play her uncle, who supports her decision to join the team and to play in the Pop Warner Super Bowl.
The film is Comeback and it is a sports drama based on a true story. Ice Cube will play a former high school football star who takes his niece under his wing as she becomes the first female quarterback in Pop Warner football history. The 11-year-old QB, Jasmine Plummer, led her team to the Pop Warner tournament, and became the first female to play in the tournament's 56-year history.
Tasha Smith, Jill Marie Jones, Dash Mihok, Matt Craven and Garrett Morris will also star in the film.
