Trying to fix a clock

Harvey’s grandfather clock suddenly stops working right one day, so he loads it into his van and takes it to a clock repair shop.

In the shop is a little old man who insists he is Swiss, and has a heavy German accent. He asks Harvey, “Vat sims to be ze problem?”

Harvey says, “I’m not sure, but it doesn’t go ‘tick-tocktick -tock’ anymore. Now it just goes ‘tick…tick…tick.’”

The old man says, “Mmm-Hm!” and steps behind the counter, where he rummages around a bit. He emerges with a huge flashlight and walks over the grandfather clock.

He turns the flashlight on, and shines it directly into the clocks face. Then he says in a menacing voice, “Ve haf vays of making you tock!”

The Race

Once, a Hindu, a Sardar and an American were travelling in an aeroplane.

Suddenly, something went wrong and the engines stalled.

They had no parachutes with them. So all the three of them decided to risk their lives and jump out of their planes.

First, the Sardar jumped out. He removed his turban, used it as a parachute and jumped.

Using the turban he slowly floated down.

Then the Hindu removed his dhoti and jumped out. Again his dhoti acted as a parachute and he also floated down gently.

Seeing this, the American removed his shirt and pant and jumped out. Unfortunately, they did not do well as a parachute and he began to fall rapidly from the plane to the ground.

He passed by the Hindu who said - " May Bhagwan help you".

Then he passed the Sardar. The Sardar looked at the American zooming past him and was puzzled.

So he said - "I see! You want a race! Let us see who is faster" Saying so, he let go of his turban.

New Fundraising Program

There is a new Fundraising Program in Texas. Meridian Media Group has developed a fundraising program primarily for public school sports teams and clubs, and other non-profit youth sports organizations.

The kit contains 200 $10.00 gift cards to one of our partner restaurants inside of our "Thank You" brochure which contains funny cartoons and inspirational quotes. The cost of the kit is $798 which is $3.99 per $10.00 gift card.

All you do is ask for at least a $10.00 donation in exchange for a $10.00 gift card. Your organization will net at least $1,202.00 which is a 60% profit. Shipping & handling are FREE.

    * It's a fun and easy way to raise funds and a fantastic alternative to candy bars, cookie dough or wrapping paper. (non-perishable)

    * This only require one trip (no delivery at a later date)

    * Compact size is easy to carry, store and distribute.

Amy
PONY Baseball Director

I was affiliated with KC Pony League for several years, during the 2 my son played and a few years after he "graduated" the program. It is a WONDERFUL program, with fantastic people running it. My son & I both enjoyed our time there, and are grateful we were able to be involved. I moved on, and am now a Regional Director with PONY Baseball, Inc. I stay involved because I love kids, love baseball, and hope that I may make a small difference in some child's life by being involved.
