We will be holding a tryout August 14 at Adair 10 AM to Noon field 2. Please arrive 15-20 early for registration. Any individuals who would like a private tryout in advance can contact us to schedule a time. Our team is mostly made up of 98 birthdays. Neither coach has daughters on the team and have both coached at the 18A level in the past. Team practices in the Lees summit area. We are looking for players with the ability and desire to compete at the "A" level. All positions will be taken into consideration. For more information,

Ashley Meredith and Tracie Tiensvold will be coaching the Athletics this season.  They both bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization.

Ashley Meredith, a native from Northeast Oklahoma, was a three year starter at Southwest Missouri State from 2000-2004. While at SMS, Meredith set records in single season homeruns (10) career homeruns (20) single season walks (51) and career walks (132). She was also an MVC all-conference selection in 2002, 2003, and 2004 and MVC Scholar Athlete in 2002, 2003, and 2004. Meredith was also CoSIDA Academic All-District VII in 2004.  She graduated in 2004 from SMS with a B.S. in Public Relations and in 2006 with a M.A. in Communications. Prior to SMS, Meredith played for Bartlesville High School (Oklahoma) where she was a runner up state champion as a junior, an all-state selection her senior year(00), and also led the state in homeruns (9).

Tracie Tiensvold is a Kansas City native, played high school at Truman High School and 1 year at Wichita State University and 2 years at Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee. She graduated high school in 2001 and holds the national record for pitching a 35-inning softball game against Blue Springs in 2000. She debuted in the Sports Illustrated November 6th 2000 edition. She is now a nurse and conducts pitching lessons.
