Thank you to all coaches, families and sponsors for a great 2011-2012 Kings Basketball Association (KBA) season! We were glad to see so many children this year – more than 400 across 45 teams – and look forward to another great year next season. 
 SUMMER CAMP
The Northern Cincinnati Basketball Camp will be held at Kings high school in June/July.  Sessions include half-day, all-day, dribbling and shooting camps (plus leagues).  Costs range from $55-$125.  Led by Jake Grunkemeyer (inducted into the Greater Cincinnati Basketball Hall of Fame and the Mt. Healthy Hall of Fame), instructors include varsity coaches from Kings and St. Bernard.  Visit the website for dates or to register:  http://northerncincyhoops.com/  
JUNIOR HIGH & HIGH SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES
If you have a player interested in playing past 6th grade, Kings junior high and high school players can form their own teams and play in CAYBL leagues or at “Courts4Sports.” Please contact Charrise Middleton (Middleton2113@yahoo.com) for information. 
FALL SIGN-UPSWe currently plan to hold sign-ups for the 2012-2013 season the first two weeks in September. Advance notifications will be sent via e-mail and signs will be posted at all of the elementary schools. Registrations will be accepted both online and in-person. 
 KBA INFORMATION
·         Profile& Mission: The Kings Basketball Association provides opportunities for children to learn and experience the game of basketball. KBA provides every child in grades 2-6 within the Kings local school district the ability to play basketball; no one is turned away.
·         Leagues: KBA participates in several leagues including the Cincinnati Area Youth Basketball League (www.caybl.org), the Lakota Girls 2nd and 3rd grade girls league, and the Kings School District 2nd and 3rd grade boys intramural league.
ELECTION RESULTS
Please join us in congratulating our newest board members:  Tim Hicks, Ann Georgesen and Scott Schitter. Elections were held during the end-of-season coaches’ meeting in March.

Kings Association Profile


The Kings Basketball Association is an organization which provides the opportunity for children to learn and have a positive experience with the game of basketball. The Kings Basketball Association participates in several different leagues including the Fort Ancient Valley Conference, Metro Basketball Association, Southwest Ohio Basketball League and others.

This website is dedicated to the promotion, organization and management of basketball for kids of all ages who are served by the Kings Basketball Association. It is through their financial support that children in the Kings School District are able to play basketball.
