The Katy Tigers edged LaPorte 3-1 at Humble High School Saturday afternoon to clinch their best-of-three series with the Bulldogs and propel them into their first-ever Region III final to begin next week against Kingwood. Thursday, May 27 Tigers take Game One, 11-7
Sports Editor- Katy Times On-Line The Katy High School baseball team rapped out 18 hits and scored in every inning but the first in taking an 11-7 victory over LaPorte Thursday night at the Baseball USA Complex. The win gave Katy a 1-0 lead in their best-of-three series with the Bulldogs in the regional semifinals.

Brian will be joined by fellow 19-5A players Taylor Everett- 3B (Katy Taylor) and Bryan Tully- OF (Alief Taylor). The 31st Annual THSBCA All-Star games will be held on June 20th at Dell Diamond in Round Rock. The first game (1A-2A-3A) will begin at noon and the second game (4A-5A) will begin around 3:00pm. Several awards will be given between games including the THSB Magazine Gary Fowler Scholarship winners. Monday, June 14 THSBCA All-State Teams Announced
