January 21, 2015:  Hopeau Player of the Year, De Leon, Harvey and Breault selected as First team all-stars.

Junior Midfielder Shandon Hopeau was selected by the coaches as the 2014-2015 OIA West Soccer Player of the Year. Junior Goalkeeper Makana Breault, Junior Defender Lyric De Leon and Senior Forward CJ Harvey were selected to the 1st Team.


February 7, 2015:  Hurricanes finish in 3rd place for the OIA Tournament; secures HHSAA State Tournament berth

January 16, 2015:  Hurricanes race past previously unbeaten Pearl City

Behind a stellar team defensive effort and a strong offensive transition game, the  Hurricanes defeated the previously unbeaten Chargers 2-0. Junior Center Midfielder Shandon Hopeau scored two breakaway goals off of passes from Senior Forward CJ Harvey while the Hurricanes counterattacked. Junior Goalkeeper Makana Breault continued his steady play in goal and the defense led by backs Lyric De Leon, Quinn Thierbach and Beau Meyer as well as holding midfielders Garrison Lee and Mana Perry thwarted every Charger attempt. De Leon provided critical stops inside the goal area.


January 13, 2015:  Bootes tallies a Hat trick to lead the Hurricanes

Senior Forward Robbie Bootes scored three goals and also added an assist as the Hurricanes defeated Waianae High School 8-1. Shandon Hopeau and CJ Harvey both dished out two assists to lead the Hurricane attack. With the victory, the Hurricanes improved their record to 5-0-2.

Junior Center Midfielder Shandon Hopeau was announced as the Star Advertiser's Prep Athlete of the week in today's published edition as part of the weekly Prep Report. 

January 9, 2015:  Hopeau passes Ponce to become All-Time Assist Leader

Junior Center Midfielder Shandon Hopeau scored 4 goals and added 3 assists to lead the Hurricanes to a 13 -1 defeat of Aiea High School. With the three assists, Hopeau moves ahead of Keo Ponce (class of 2014) into the all-time lead with 26 assists. Contributing to the scoring total were Garrison Lee (3 goals), Quinn Thierbach (2 goals), Tanner Ritchey (2 golas), Robbie Bootes (1 goal) and Jason Catron (1 goal).


January 6, 2015:  Hurricanes defeat the Trojans 1-0

Junior Center Midfielder Shandon Hopeau scored 6 minutes into the game on a well struck 40 yard shot into the upper corner and the Hurricanes kept previously unbeaten Mililani High School scoreless en route to a 1-0 victory. Solid goalkeeping by Junior Makana Breault and the steady play and organization from the backline (Lyric De Leon, Quinn Thierbach and Beau Meyer) led the defensive efforts.!167&authkey=!ABryXrdqJwv7B4M&ithint=video%2cmp4  


December 30, 2014:  Hurricanes play Campbell to a scoreless draw

The Hurricanes played Campbell to a scoreless draw to end 2014 with two wins and two ties through four games. Junior Center Midfielder Shandon Hopeau leads the team with 6 goals and 3 assists and is followed by Senior CJ Harvey with 3 goals and 1 assist. The Hurricanes have surrended only one goal thus far.

December 14, 2014: Breault stellar in season opener

Aided by a stellar performance by Junior Goalkeeper Makana Breault and the steady defensive leadership of Junior Centerback Lyric De Leon, the Hurricanes were able to play Radford High School to a scoreless draw.

-Junior Kalei Gallarde scored the game winning goal to lead the University of Pacific to it's first win in its first season back as a Division I soccer program.


-Junior to be Shandon Hopeau selected to and participated in prestigious Real Madrid Select Camp in Spain. The camp took place August 17th-24th in Spain and is an invitation only soccer camp that provides training for the top 36 youth players around the world.

-Incoming Freshman Sean Yoshida won the Best International Player Award at the Margine Coperta in Italy.
