January 15, 2013: Hurricanes awarded top seed after coin flip

Co-OIA Red Div. I West Champions Kapolei was awarded the top seed in next week's OIA Red Div. I Tournament after winning a coin toss with fellow Co-OIA Red Div. I West Champions Mililani participated. With the top seed, Kapolei will play the winner of Aiea-Kaiser on January 23, 2013.  Kickoff to start @ 7pm at Kapolei High School Stadium.

January 14, 2013: Hurricanes overcome sluggish play to defeat Radford

After a scoreless first half, the Hurricanes got goals from Seniors Dylan Orian, Vineal Singh and Makaio Hamilton over a 8 minute span to propel the Hurricanes over radford 4-1. Senior defender Brandon Begonia capped off the scoring. The Hurricanes will receive a first round bye to the OIA Red Div. I Tournament which starts January 22, 2013.

January 11, 2013: Hurricanes roll on Senior Night

Senior players Makaio Hamilton, Dylan Orian, Vineal Singh, and Max Wren all scored goals to propel the Hurricanes to a 6-0 victory over Leilehua High School. Senior Goalkeeper Javerin Rabaino played the first 65 minutes of the contest to earn the shutout with Freshman Makana Breault. The Hurricanes last regular season game is January 14, 2013 against Radford High School. Kickoff to start @ 6pm at Radford High School Stadium.

January 11, 2013: Hurricanes to honor eight seniors on Senior Night

Senior players Jonathan Arellano, Brandon Begonia, Makaio Hamilton, Dylan Orian, Javerin Rabino, Vineal Singh, Max Wren and Team Manager Kaley Tamura will be honored after tonight's game on Senior Night after particiopating in the traditional "Hurricane Shootout". Kickoff to start @ 6pm at Kapolei High School Stadium.

January 8, 2013: Vinneal Singh's offensive night leads the Hurricanes over the Na Alii

Senior winger Vinneal Singh had 2 goals and an assist to lead the Hurricanes over Aiea High School. Forwards Keo Ponce and Dylan Orian each added their goals to increase their team leading total to eight goals for the season. The win improves the Hurricanes record to 7-0-1. Next game for the Hurricanes kicks off at 6:00on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Kapolei High School against Radford High School. The game, titled "Senior Night" will be dedicated to the Senior class as they play their last regular season game @ Kapolei High School Stadium. 

January 4, 2013: CJ Harvey's hat-trick propels the Hurricanes over the Marauders

Sophopmore winger CJ Harvey scored 3 goals to lead Kapolei to a 4-0 victory over Waipahu.Next game for the Hurricanes kicks off at 7:10 on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Kapolei High School against Aiea High School.

December 28, 2012: Goalkeepers Aldo Ramirez, Cedric Silva, Javerin Rabino and Makana Breault split time to earn the shutout in a 3-0 victory over Waianae High School.

Shandon Hopeau, Marcelo Dadino and Dylan Orian provided the scoring for the Hurricanes as the win improves the Hurricanes record to 5-0-1. Next game for the Hurricanes kicks off at 7:10 on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Kapolei High School against Waipahu High School.

December 21, 2012: Hopeau scores game winner in the final minute to lead the Hurricanes over Pearl City High School.

Junior forward Keo Ponce scored on a corner kick served by Freshman midfielder Shandon Hopeau to open the scoring in the 15th minute. Pearl City tied it eleven minutes later after a well placed free kick on the top of the 18 found the corner of the net. After several chances to take the lead by the Hurricanes were denied, Hopeau took a pass 30 yards out from Freshman Defender Lyric DeLeon in the 79th minute, beat three Pearl City Chargers and slotted the ball past the charging Pearl City goalkeeper to put the Hurricanes ahead 2-1. The win improves the Hurricanes record to 4-0-1. Next game for the Hurricanes kicks off at 7:10 on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Waianae High School.

December 18, 2012: Kapolei scores three goals in the first ten minutes of the second half to erase a 1-0 halftime deficit en route to a 4-3 victory over Campbell High School.

December 14, 2012: Perennial powers Mililani and Kapolei play to scoreless draw. Next game for the Hurricanes kicks off at 7:10 on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 against Campbell at Campbell High School.

December 7, 2012: Begonia, Orian, Ponce and Singh score two goals apiece as the Hurricanes defeat Waialua High School 9-0. Next game for the Hurricanes kicks off at 7:10 on Friday, December 14, 2012 against Mililani at Mililani High School.

December 4, 2012: Ponce and Hopeau power the Hurricanes over Nanakuli High School in the regular season opener. 

Junior forward Keo Ponce scored three goals and Freshman midfielder Shandon Hopeau added a goal to go along with 5 assists. Senior Dylan Orian also added a goal and two assists as the Hurricanes defeated Nanakuli 9-0 to go to 1-0. Next game for the Hurricanes kicks off at 7:10 on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Waialua High School.

December 3 2012: Seniors Brandon Begonia, Dylan Orian, Max Wren and Junior Keo Ponce have been named Team Captains on the eve of the regular season opener.

December  2012: Congratulations to Freshman midfielder Shandon Hopeau who was selected to the National Rush Select Team for 99' age group following National ID Camp.

February 18 2012: Jesse George scores as Kapolei tied Iolani 1-1 to finish tied for 3rd at the HHSAA Division I State Tournament

February 17 2012: Kapolei falls to Kalani in sudden death overtime 2-1 of the HHSAA Division I State Tournament

Sophomore striker Keo Ponce scored his 11th goal of the season in the 50th minute but Kalani answered back via a penalty kick ten minutes later. Neither team scored the rest of the way even though the Hurricanes outshot the Falcons 16 - 9. Kalani was able to score seven minutes into overtime and thus preventing the Hurricanes from making its first ever State title game appearance. February 16 2012: Kapolei overwhelms Baldwin in the quarterfinals of the HHSAA Division I State Tournament

Sophomore striker Keo Ponce scored his 10th goal of the season as the Hurricanes built a 1-0 halftime lead. Senior Caleb Gouveia also scored his 10th goal early in the second half. Senior Michael Wolf added two more goals and could have added a third as the Hurricanes cruised to a 4-0 victory. This will mark the Hurricanes fourth final four appearance in the last six years as they will take on the Kalani Falcons.  Kickoff is slated for 5pm at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex Stadium and will be televised live on OC16.http://www.scoringlive.com/story.php?storyid=9322
