Menace Win Regional Championship! Back to where it all started. The Menace entered the Mrs. Baird's Quick Foot 4v4 tournament in Tulsa over the June 30th/July1st weekend. Once again, we advanced to the finals and they played an outstanding game, winning 4-1. With the tournament victory, the Menace advanced to the National Championships being held in Plano, TX. We got off to a tight start on Saturday, beating Man U 2-1 and then a 2-2 tie in the second game to the Fab 4. We then dropped a very good and entertaining game to the Lunachicks, trailing 4-1 with a final in their favor of 5-4. We then got it together in the evening game and won 8-1. We faced the Lunachicks in the final and really played well, controlling the whole game and won 4-1. We had 3 or 4 go off the post and another 5 or 6 right over the top of the goal. The entire tournament was a test as the team we assembled was based on quick passing and our speed. However, it rained all weekend and all the games were played in mud. The final was a mud bath but we adapted. It was a dominating performance. Congrats to Bayleigh, Kayleigh, Tyler, Lucy, Caroline, Renee and Jessica!
