Crush Live Up to Name, "Crushing" Defending State Champions, Salina in League Play, Then Handle Locust Grove in Follow up! Place 2nd in AAA Tournament
The Kansas Crush won their first game of league play defeating the defending 4 time state champions Salina team 15-4.
Thursday the Crush handed Locust Grove a loss, beating them 12-2.
In tournament action over the weekend, the Crush placed second in Bixby in a AAA tournament. The championship game was not without controversy, as an obvious "3RD" out was recorded at first base. The umpire ruled the runner safe at first, and the winning run scored as a result.
The Crush return to league play this week, hoping to improve their stronghold on 1st place.

The Crush will start season play soon, so keep checking back for updated information.
