Kansas State High School Tournament
The coaches, players, and parents would like to congratulate Bailey Scott and Evan Folks at Eudora for finishing 2nd at the 4A Kansas State High School tournaments, and Sam Cockrell at Olathe East for winning the 6A Kansas State High School tournemant. Way to cap off a fine high school season!
Eudora the #6 Seed beat Girard the #3 seed, then beat Andale/Garden Plain the #2 seed before falling to Hays-TMP-Marian the #1 seed.
Olathe East the #3 seed beat Wichita-Northwest the #6 seed, then beat Topeka-Washburn Rural the #2 seed, and then beat Derby the #8 seed in the Championship game.

Wichita Indoor Tourney
The Aces kicked off their 07' season with an Indoor tournament at the Wichita Mustangs Indoor facility. This facility is state of the art and provides the best realistic playing atmosphere in the Mid-West. The girls really played well for only having 1 full and 1 half practice together before they went. The bats were on fire until the Championship game when a pitchers duel ensued and the Aces Fell 1-0 in 7 innings. The Aces went 5-1 on the weekend. The Aces game results were Aces-4 Omaha Finesse-3, Aces-7 Topeka Fury/KC Elite-2, Aces-4 Wichita Mustangs-3, Aces-5 K.C. Freeze-1, Aces-0 Wichita Mustangs-1.
The coaches and the parents of the Aces were quit pleased with the girls and how well they played for only having 1 full practice before going down to Wichita. You can tell the girls have been working hard on their own in the cages, since the team as a whole was swinging the bats very well for January.
Not to forget the pitching, but it looked close to mid season form with two 1 hit performances and a couple other 2 hitters pitched as well.
Aces 2006 Fall Season
The Aces finsished up their 06' Fall Season with a 19-7 record. Most of the girls have not played with one another, but they started jelling nicely after the 1st tourney. There is a good mixture of 9 1st year and 3 2nd year players. With some work this winter, these young ladies should be one of the tougher teams to deal with in the Mid-west in 07'. The Aces played in 4 fall tourney's.
