Club Kalani Volleyball: About Club Kalani

Club Philosophy: Winning is when you've given it all you've got, and comes from the heart.  You can never lose regardless of what the score reads.

Club Kalani was founded by Director Roy Ching and has been established in the Bay Area since 1990.  The Club offers a training program for Girls, ages 12-18, and prepares them to compete at the High School and Junior Olympic levels.  Club Kalani participates in Area, Regional, Junior Olympic Regional Qualifiers and National tournaments.

Our Coaches have many years of coaching experience, and are also experienced players.  Their Mission is to develop the girls and to work with each on her own personal growth and development goals.  The girls learn to develop character, build confidence, friendship and "Kodak moments" that enhance their ability to achieve their highest goals.  Club Kalani fulfills a community goal to inspire young leaders, encourage education and respect family values.

The atmosphere is "Ohana", Hawaiian word for "family", and the coaches and staff, parents and girls work together on common goals. These goals include team preparation for every tournament, or volunteer in the planning or participation in a Club Kalani event.
