Zwart tosses one-hitter, belts 5 RBI!
It just had to be one of those days for Junior Jordan Zwart where he could simply do no wrong. On the hill, Zwart allowed just 1 BCC hit and at the plate he delivered 3 hits, including a triple, and knocked in 5 KC base runners for 5 RBI. Combined with his game one performance, Zwart finished with 5 hits and 6 RBI for the day against the Bearcats who had no answer for him. Lawrence Herron also had a fine day, driving in 4 RBI. The sweep of BCC lifts the Maroon Giants to 13-16 on the season. Next up: Comstock on Thursday at home.
