Herron Heats Up Again, DeYoung Cruises to GK Win.
Lawrence Herron homered in his first two at bats and totaled 4 RBI en route to a 3-4 game against Vicksburg in the first round of the GK Tourney. Senior pitcher Sean DeYoung was on cruise control and scattered 8 hits in a complete game 11-4 win over the Bulldogs. KC advanced to round two against Portage Central who defeated Gull Lake in their GK opener.
