Kaikamahine Fastpitch Softball Club: About Us

The Kaikamahine Fastpitch Softball Club was founded in 2000 as a nonprofit club for players who wanted to travel to mainland National, Invitational, and College Recruiting Tournaments.

We are a travel club.  All levels compete in the "A" division.

Club membership is open to anyone from anywhere who is committed to working hard.

Every August we reset our rosters for the next year.

There is no fee to tryout.

Most of the current and former players are from the island of Oahu.  However, we've had players from Maui, the Big Island, and the mainland - Oregon and Philadelphia, PA.

The club is managed, staffed and coached by a group of hard-working volunteers.

PHILOSOPHY

We emphasize academics, hard work, and discipline, along with a commitment to an enhanced practice, game, tournament, and travel schedule.

We believe that education and sports can work together.  It takes commitment and team work, on and off the field, by coaches, parents and the players to get the job done.

GOALS

We are committed to providing travel opportunities to mainland Invitational, National, and College Recruiting/Exposure Tournaments for those players who want to use softball as an avenue to get to college and obtain an education.

The goal for 2009 is to improve the competitive level for each of our teams along with improving how we as a club are organized and managed.
