Kaieteur (Ki-chur) Soccer Team established in 2001, is based in the Silver Spring area of Montgomery County Maryland and is a member of the Calverton Soccer Club.  A year round Select Travel team for Girls born between August 1991 and December 1992. We compete in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League  in U19 division 2  and tournaments in neighbouring Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania.  We encourage and train skillful, competitive, athletic girls to develop to their full potential focusing on teamwork both on and off the field. Our athletes come from all over Montgomery and Howard counties: Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Ellicott City Laurel, Silver Spring, and Takoma Park. The team was named after powerful water falls in Guyana South America, where coach Mike grew up.
