Coming off of a very poor showing at a scrimmage two days prior, they competed in the 7th annual Chesapeake Cup 2002 in the U10 Girls division. With one sub, won their division by coming from behind 3-1 at half time, to win 4-3. In the second game, it was a dogfight of a defensive battle with a familiar rival winning 1-0
In the finals, they came up against the other unbeaten group winner 14 strong it was a brave fight, even after losing our goalie in the first half, they never let up and were rewarded with some kind words from the winning coach at the trophy presentation..
