Kai Elua Outrigger Canoe Club is an amateur, non-profit athletic club based in San Diego, California. We have been in San Diego, on Mission Bay, since 1978. Club members commit their time to become proficient paddlers and to be competitive with other clubs in California and throughout the Pacific Rim.

Kai Elua means 2 oceans and symbolizes the union of the Hawaiian and southern California cultures and seas. Our objectives are to encourage understanding of Polynesian culture and to maintain and perpetuate outrigger canoe racing.

Kai Elua is a 501(c)4 non-profit corporation (CA exemption code 23701f).
