SUMMER INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE
Kahalu'u Little League will once again participate in the District 1 Summer Instructional League for Minors and Majors. The summer league is designated as training and development for players moving up in division or returning for their second season. Emphasis is on learning and gaining experience.
Minors Division - Ages 8, 9, and inexperienced 10s
Majors Division - Ages 10, 11, and inexperienced 12s
The summer league is expected to run from July 7 to August 25 (8 weeks). Participating leagues are Kahaluu, Kaneohe, Kailua, and Kainalu. Most games will be on Sat (depending on number of teams) at the different league fields. Fee is $20. Make checks payable to Kahaluu Little League. Forms and payments can be turned in directly or can be mailed. If mailing, send (checks only, no cash) to:

DEADLINE to register is June 16 or when teams are full.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
For REGULAR SEASON registration, you will need to submit the following:
1. Player Registration Form - this is the Kahalu'u Little League registration form.
2. Birth Certificate - if player is new to the league, an ORIGINAL birth certificate and a copy must be presented. The original will be returned and the copy will be kept for our records. Birth certificates are not required for returning players.
3. Address Verification - a document with your street address must be presented to verify that you reside within the league's boundaries. Our boundaries start at address 47-000 in Kaneohe to 57-999 in Kahuku. Acceptable documents include driver's license, utility bills, voter registration, and more. For a complete list of acceptable documents, view or download the Proof of Residency document in our "Handouts" section.
4. Medical Release Form - this is the official Little League form. A doctor's approval is not required for this.
5. Parent Code of Conduct - please read and sign.
6. Payment of fees - make checks payable to Kahalu'u Little League.
7. Fundraiser - Coach Pitch, Minors, and Majors players are required to sell five (5) Zippy's Fundraiser tickets. All Juniors, Seniors, and Big League players are required to sell ten (10) Zippy's Fundraiser tickets. Additional ticket options are available to help reduce your fee.

FINANCIAL AID AVAILABLE
Kahalu'u Little League is proud to once again offer a regular season financial aid program for qualifying families. The financial aid consists of a $20.00 discount for player fees and is based upon the player participating in the Free Lunch Program at his or her school. A copy of the confirmation letter from the player's school must be presented at time of registration to receive this discount. The financial aid discount is not available via online registration, so please register in person on one of our registration dates.

INTERESTED IN COACHING?
New coaches are always welcome. Experience is helpful, but not required. We offer training and information. Just fill out and submit a Volunteer form at one of our registration dates. Volunteer forms are available for download in the "Handouts" section. If several volunteers want to coach together, that can be arranged. All volunteers are evaluated by the league board and criminal background checks are conducted as required by Little League.

BOARD POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Interested in how our league is run or want to help behind the scenes? Kahalu'u Little League has openings on our Board of Directors. No experience required. We just need a little of your time and effort. Ask us about it! Just fill out and submit a Volunteer form at one of our registration dates.
