Welcome to Kahalu'u Little League!
Kahalu'u Little League was established in 1959 and is part of the international organization of Little League Baseball. Our league is open to boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 18. For baseball, our divisions of play are T-Ball (5-6), Coach Pitch (7-8), Minors (9-10), Majors (11-12), Juniors (13-14), Seniors (14-16) and Big League (15-18). Baseball player's age as of April 30, 2012 determines their offical league age. For softball, our divisions of play are Minors (7-10), Majors (10-12) and Juniors (12-14). Softball player's age as of January 1, 2012 determines their official league age.
The T-Ball season runs from December through February, a little earlier than the other divisions. The Coach Pitch, Minors and Majors seasons run from March through June. The Juniors, Seniors and Big League seasons run from April through July.
You must reside within the Kahalu'u Little League boundaries to register. Our boundary starts from street address 47-000 in Kaneohe and ends at 57-999 in Kahuku. That covers all of Ahuimanu, Kahalu'u, Waiahole, Waikane, Ka'a'awa, Punalu'u, Hau'ula, La'ie, and Kahuku.

Girls Softball Restarted!
After an absence of almost 10 years, Kahalu'u Little League has restarted the girls softball program. This season we have two teams in the Minors (7-10 yr olds) divsion. Next year we hope to have more in both Minors and Majors (10-12 yr olds). For softball, league age is determined by the player's age on Jan 1. Help us get the word out - softball is back!
Registration for our 2012 regular season is now closed. Keep an eye out for information about next season.
Season coming to a close!
The 2012 season is coming to a close for our Baseball and Softball teams. How time flies when you're having fun! We want to thank all of our players for their hard work and commitment this season. A big mahalo goes out to our coaches and volunteers for all of their efforts in making this an enjoyable season for everyone.
Upcoming Tournaments!
Although the regular season is coming to a close, Kahalu'u Little League will have teams competing in several upcoming tournaments. Tournament teams will be selected for these:
Kainalu Coach Pitch Goodwill Tournament (7 & 8 yr olds) - Sat, 6/2 - Sun, 6/3
District 1 9&10 Tournament (9 & 10 yr olds) - Fri, 6/15 - Thu, 6/21
District 1 Majors Tournament (11 & 12 yr olds) - Fri, 6/29 - Wed, 7/4
District 1 Juniors Tournament (13 & 14 yr olds) - Fri, 7/6 - Mon, 7/9
Summer Instructional League
Kahalu'u Little League will once again participate in the District 1 Summer Instructional League for Minors and Majors. The summer league is designated as training and development for players moving up in division or returning for their second season. Emphasis is on learning and gaining experience.
Minors Division - Ages 8, 9, and inexperienced 10s
Majors Division - Ages 10, 11, and inexperienced 12s
The summer league is expected to run from July 7 to August 25 (8 weeks). Most games will be on Sat (depending on number of teams) at the different league fields. Fee is $20. Make checks payable to Kahaluu Little League. Deadline to register is June 16 or when teams are full. Forms and payments (checks only, no cash) can be mailed to: P.O. Box 4317, Kaneohe, HI 96744
