Dick's Sporting Goods 2005 Turkey Bowl
Dicks Sporting Goods 2005 Youth Turkey Bowl
The Turkey Bowl is a good will event in which the Teams who have been selected is honored for their contribution to their Leagues and to the sport. Players do not receive trophies and there is no designation of first place of second place in this event. The Turkey Bowl gives each player an opportunity to play with the best of the best. Each player receives a Commemorative Patch that acknowledging their hard work, dedication and excellence in the JYFL. The game played is a token game.. A maximum of eight (8) youth Bowl coaches will be allowed per youth Bowl Team. Parents from each team nominate players from their team for the Turkey Bowl. This selection will be done by the parents of the team.
There is a $50.00 (cash or money order made payable to the Jax Youth Football League) per team fee for each team participating in the Youth Turkey Bowl event. This should be discussed with the parents involved prior to the selection of teams to that event. This is a scheduled game outside of the League season games and play off competition, honoring the most deserving athletes of a team. Each team will matched equally (age & weight). These funds are used to pay for additional officiating, practice field and game field usage. These funds are to be paid to the League no later than two week prior to the Dicks Sporting Goods Youth Turkey Bowl event so you can on the schedule .
