JUSTIN YOUTH ASSOCIATION
Justin All-star Tournaments
| Justin Youth Association is sponsoring a Single A or Recreation-ball All-Star double elimination tournament. (Please no select teams allowed) | ||
| Age groups invited are 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. We plan to have a warm up tournament the second weekend of June and 6/8/12 through 6/10/12.We are also planning a All-Star Tournament the last weekend in June 6/29/12 through 7/1/12. | ||
| Proceeds will go Justin Youth association and their All-Star Program. | ||
| Entry fee will be $225 Due prior to first game of the tournament. No gate fee will be charged. | ||
| Each team will provide proof of insurance prior to the start of the tournament. | ||
| Each team should be prepared to provide birth certificate for each player upon request. | ||
| 2012 USSSA rules will be observed. | ||
| Each team will provide (2) New 9" 5 oz. game balls per game | ||
| Home and away will be determined by coin toss at the beginning of each game. | ||
| Trophies will be awarded to the 1st and second place teams of each age division. | ||
| Each team should be prepared to start games 15 minutes early in the event that fields come available. | ||
| Home team will provide official score book, visiting team will provide score board operator if scoreboard is available. | ||
| 14 U will play on Justin North Field. | ||
| 12 U will play on Justin East Field | ||
| 10 U will play on Justin South Field | ||
| 8 U will play on Justin West field. | ||
| Tie breaker: All games will have a winner. Modified California tie breaker will be applied if game is tied at conclusion of time limit. | ||
| Each half inning will start with bases loaded. | ||
| Each team will continue the batting order from the inning before with the (3) previous batters occupying the bases. | ||
| The last batter on 1st and the 3rd batter on 3rd. | ||
| Pitching rules: No pitcher can pitch more than 18 outs in a game and no more than 27 outs in a day. | ||
| The coach is allowed 2 visits to the mound per pitcher in a inning. On the second visit to the mound for a single pitcher they must be removed. |
