Romeo Jr Bulldogs: Welcome

The purpose of the Romeo Junior Bulldog Youth Football League is to provide Romeo area youths with the opportunity to play one of Americas most popular exciting team sports, better known as Tackle Football. The focus of this Romeo Program is to work together and to accomplish a group goal, while having a good time in the process. A strong emphasis will be put toward making this a positive experience for both the youths and their families.

Returning player registration will be held Monday, March 12th at the Washington Municipal Building.  It is located north of 26 Mile Road on Van Dyke, east side of the road.  Please use east or south parking lot.  New player registration will be held Saturday, April 28th.  We will send details as the dates get closer with times and specific locations.

Since we are in need of so many flag players we are allowing new flag players to register at returning player registration.  This will be for NEW FLAG PLAYERS ONLY.  Unfortunately we will not be registering any older siblings that will be joining the program at this time, they will be invited to join us at New Player Registration.  If you know friends or neighbors that meet the below criteria please pass the date to them.
 
OMYFA FOOTBALL AGE AND WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS AS OF NOVEMBER 1, 2012:
   Flag: 6-7 yrs
   Freshman: 8-9 yrs Max Weight 125 lbs
   JV: 10-11 yrs Max Weight 145 lbs
   Varsity: 12-13 yrs Max Weight 170 lbs (No 14 year olds or 9th Graders are  permitted  as a league rule)

   Freshman: 8-9 yrs, 3rd and 4th grades
   JV: 10-11 yrs, 5th and 6th grades
   Varsity: 12-13 yrs, 7th and 8th grades
