All required paperwork must be turned in before we will issue equipment. You will need to leave a $100 check (no cash please) for an equipment deposit which you will get back at the end of the season. You will receive a helmet and shoulder pads. You will need to purchase game and practice pants, a pad set to go in the pants, socks, cleats and a colored mouth piece (not clear). We will have these items for sale that day. We will provide a practice and game jersey. We will also be selling Mustang T-shirts, car decals, car flags, umbrellas, tatoos, etc. Show your Mustang Pride! Wednesday, July 16 *** PRACTICE STARTS ON FRIDAY AUGUST 1ST *** The first practice of the 2008 season will be on August 1st from 5:30pm - 8pm. There is also a practice scheduled for Saturday August 2nd from 9am - 11am. Saturday, February 9 Registration will be open until August 4th Go to www.jtaa.org and click on "On-line Registration" to register prior to August 4th. Tuesday, May 27 EQUIPMENT RE-USE PROGRAM Kids grow quickly and many of us have equipment (shoes, pads, game and practice pants) in almost new condition. We are asking those of you with this type of equipment still in good condition to bring these items (cleaned and laundered) to the Equipment Room at JCP on Saturday, June 28 or Saturday, July 12 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon for donation. The donated items will be made available during equipment handouts to those players that can put them to use this season. Equipment items may also be donated on the scheduled equipment handout dates and will be made available to players when practice begins August 1st. Please help by making the effort. Your donation will help another player in our Mustang family! Saturday, May 10 USA Football Coaching Clinic "click here for online course" For the 2008 season, Pop Warner has mandated that all HEAD coaches must attend one of the USA Football Coaching Clinics, either online or in person at one of the regional sites. For more information on the coaching clinics, you can log on to www.usafootball.com. All head coaches who do not attend a clinic in person are required to complete the Level 1 certification of the online course. Each head coach must have a Level 1 completion certificate by July 31, 2008. To access the $9.99 online course, you can click on the link above. Saturday, February 9 NOTE: PAYS PROGRAM IS MANDATORY PRIOR TO REGISTERING "Click here to view online" . Only one parent from each football participant is required to view PAYS video. To proceed with your childs registration, you will need to enter your PAYS member ID which was emailed to you, but if lost can be re-attained by contacting PAYS via email at nays@nays.org or by calling NAYS Member Services at (561) 684-1141, during the hours of 8:30 to 4:30 M-F.
