GEWSA - Golden Ears Womens Softball League Meeting;
Golden Ears Womans Softball Assoc. (GEWSA) is holding it’s annual AGM Wednesday February 15th, 2012 @ 7pm at Garibaldi Secondary School Located at 24789 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge All existing teams and any new teams wishing to join our league must attend. Canadian Championships, Montreal, Quebec - Aug 3- 7, 2011
White Rock Renegades warmed up this Season on some of our FDWFL Teams with exhibition Games in June, they then went on to play in the 2011- Canadian Championships in Montreal. On Sunday, August 7, they finsihed up the Tournament playing 4 games;
Starting in Sunday Morning, they Beat the Whitby Eagles 6-3,
then won over the Quebec Rebelles 9-2.The semi final was an 8-1 win over the Smittys team from Winnipeg
and finally The Final was a 2-1 win over Calahoo Xtreme from Alberta.
They had lost to the Xtreme team on Saturday 7-4.Congratulations to Wayne and his team, and thank-you to the Local Teams that got to Play some games against the Canadian Champions for 2010 and now 2011.
