Watchung Hills Jr. Warriors: Registration

Registration for the 2013-2014 Season is now open.

We will have registration for the 2013-14 Hockey Season starting on Wednesday, March 20, at Bridgewater Sports Arena from 5:30-6:30. This is right before our banquet. Obviously, you are free to get us your registration any time in advance as well and we encourage you to do so.

Those of you who are new to our organization might be wondering why it is necessary to have registration so early- after all, we are not a travel team. The reason is that we view our weekly practices as one of the cornerstones of what we do to make our players better. The fact that we have secured such good practice times for the past two years has been icing on the cake. The only way that we can continue to get ice every week and enjoy the regularity of our practice time is to know how many teams we will have and then book and pay for our ice in the Spring. We have done this the past two years. This is how we have secured our practice slots and it has also helped keep our costs down (as we get a discount for paying in advance).

As all of you know, there has been some turbulence at BSA between the rink and the Bears organization. We have already had discussions with the rink and have been assured that our slots will be available to us as long as we book early - as we have these past two seasons.

In order to minimize the inconvenience of our early registration, we will take deposits again at registration, with the balance to be due on or before August 1, 2013. The deposit this year will be $450. We have also streamlined the registration paperwork and reduced it to a single sheet for returning players.
