More About Our League...
Practices are from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, on the practice fields behind Niles North H.S. Rides should be arranged to pick up the players after practice at 8:00pm. (earlier after school starts). Game Jerseys will be issued before the first game but should not be worn to practices. Players should also bring a water container to practices, even though the school's system is currently working.
Practices will be held every weekday (Monday thru Friday) for the first two weeks. After school starts we will cut down the amount and hours of practices. we'll keep ya' updated on the times. Our games are held on Sunday afternoons. Although the first league game is TBA, there will be practice games/scrimmages before then. Exact times will depend on the team you are playing on.
You will receive receive a handbook with the team rosters and schedules. You can also check here at jrvikings.com for all the updates and game schedules (including directions, players, photos, videos, ect.) Players should be at all games 1 hour prior to game start, as this will give them time to do stretches and warm-ups for a game. During the games we ask that you refrain from talking to your son/daughter on the sidelines, and unless otherwise allowed please remain in the stadium seating. These are league wide rules... please abide by them.
The teams individual sites will be updated as soon as possible... so keep checking back here often for all the updates. You will be able to view them by following the links below.
