2013 Spring League & Clinics
Spring League is back again in Everett Youth Hockey running from April 13th until June 22nd. This years teams will be modeled after NHL teams (Penguins, Devils, Rangers, Flyers).
Our 2 Spring clinics are starting up again: Powerskating and Pass, Shoot, Score. Each session runs for 6 weeks on Wednesday nights.

Everett Youth Hockey is actively seeking coaches for the 2013/2014 season. We have coaching opportunities for both Tier II and recreational hockey for next season. Come be a part of our team of great players, parents and facilities.

Junior Silvertips Midget B State Champions
Congratulations to the Junior Silvertips Midget B team on EYH's first ever PNAHA State B Championships. They beat Seattle Junior in a close fought game 3 to 2 to win the coveted trophy.
EYH Midget Bruins 12-13 NPSHL Champions
In this all Everett final, Bruins faced off against Grizzlies in an evenly matched game that was exciting to watch by the hundreds of fans that were at the game. Grizzlies stuck first with an aggressive attack that resulted in 3 goals in the first period. The stunned Bruins regrouped after the first period and began to hack away at the lead over the next two periods with the winning goal coming within two minutes of the end of the game to win 4 to 3. Shots were dead even at 32 a side.
Congrats to both teams for an awesome game and a great finish to a first EYH Championship Midget hockey season.
EYH Squirt Kodiaks 12-13 NPSHL Champions
In the all Everett final, Kodiaks faced off against Grizzlies in what turned out to be the battle of the season. Kodiaks struck first with a goal by Kim Minuk, assisted by Ryan Black and Levi Peterson. In the second period, while on the powerplay, the Grizzlies got on the board with a goal by Martin Stovicek, assisted by Zackary Nield and Kai Myers. Tied going into the 3rd period the Grizzlies put the pressure on firing 8 shots on Garner Christensen, then with 4:44 to go in the game, Ryan Black received a pass from Kim and broke in on Andrew Tworkkowski, deaking through 2 D and slipped the puck under the sprawling Grizzlie goalie for a 2 to 1 lead and eventual win.

Peewee Grizzlies Win Division 2 NPSHL Championship!!!!
The Peewee Grizzlies continued their winning ways going into the playoffs playing 5-1-2 in their last 8 games and walked away with a 6 to 0 victory in the semi's over Tacoma Rockets White then a 6 to 0 win over the Tacoma Rockets Blue to claim the banner for the Division 2 NPSHL Peewee Championship.

Junior Silvertips Peewee Tier II AA Have Strong Showing In States!!!!
The PNAHA Tier II AA state tournament kicked off Friday in Tri-Cities for the Peewee Jr. Silvertips. The Jr. Tips, having played 65 games already were battle-hardened and ready to put it all out on the ice. The first game the Jr. Tips faced the PNAHA league champions Sno-King Thunderbirds and won 4 to 1. The next day the Everett team faced the top 2 teams in the playoffs, Team Seattle and Tacoma dropping both decisions but gaining fan support by their heart and determination.
The next morning the Jr. Silvertips faced the SJ Admirals Peewee AA, a team they lost to at the beginning of the season 15 to 0. In their 69th game of the season battling for 3rd place at the state championship the Jr. Tips go 0-0 after one period, 0-0 after two periods, 0-0 after three periods, 0-0 after a 5 minute OT only to lose by a goal in the shootout.
