The 10U Jaguars gold team has played in 8 tournaments so far this year. This team is 28-8. They won the 10U Iowa ASA State tournament and the Johnston tournament. They place second in Kansas City and Altoona tournaments. They also placed 3rd in Ankeny and 4th in the North Des Moines Flower Power and 6th in the East Des Moines tournaments.

The players include: Kirsten Cartwright, Maddie Churchill, Hannah Espeland, Olivia Goodale, Britney Johnson, Becca McDowell, Lauren McDowell, Brooke Sandstoe, Paige Sieren, Lauren Singbush, Maddie Thilges and Sarah Trail.

The team is coached by Regi Goodale, Doug Trail, Denny Thilges and Brad Sandstoe.

The Johnston Jaguars 14U Fastpitch Softball Team from Johnston, Iowa, placed first in the ASA 14U State Tournament in Nevada, Iowa, on Sunday June 14, 2009. They went 4-1 beating Dallas Center Grimes Phillies 2 of out 3 times and Urbandale and Davenport to place first in the Championship double elmination playoffs.
