The following rules changes were agreed to by area Little League representatives at a Joint Little League Board meeting in February.
Primary discussion about changes to rules affecting interleague play:
1. Pitching rule will abide by option 2(in rulebook) unless all boards agree due to change in circumstances to go back to option 1. All coaches will be notified if this change is made.
2. No Steel Cleats.
3. 2 hour time limit on all ages 12 and under. Baseball and Softball.
4. 10 and under 7-run rule applys only through the first 3 complete innings after that no limit on runs scored.
5. 10 and under girls can advance on pass balls any base including home.
6. All Baseball Coaches need to keep a little league approved pitch count record to be signed by the umpire and Coach of team played. If a coach arrives to game and cannot produce a complete pitching record that team has 48 hours to produce the pitching record to the President of their League. This pitching record must be signed by the umpires and other coach of the game played. If you cannot produce this the game will be considered a forfeit to the other team.
7.Connor Beeman will be pitched to by one of his coaches he is on a 10 and under boys team in Brighton.
All other rules to be played by the book. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!

In 2009, Jerseyville Little League is launching a Challenger Division to provide children with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy and participate in the game of baseball. Disabled children from the ages of 5-18 are eligible to participate. Challenger baseball features “buddies” who help their partners by assisting the players when needed.
