 Blue Lightning Takes 1st Place  at

The Labor Day Tournament in

Yorktown

Labor Day Champs Team 08

With and all out team effort, and a remarkable show of strength and skill by our goalie, Micaela Robinson, Blue Lightning girls, swept through Yorktown Labor Day Tournament. Micaela remianed unscored upon in all five games.   In the end it bought them a first place trophy

In a four game series, the girls won 3 and tied one leaving them going into the the championship game with a first place seed, against second place team Armonk Sweepers.

June 2006 - GU9 final record - 7-2-1
February 2006 - Teaneck armory Tournament - Participant
March 2006 -    Ramapo Valley 13th Annual - Second Place
Memorial Weekend 2006 - Clash of the Cleats - Participant
February 2007 - Rhinebeck Rebound - third place
February 2007 - Goshen 22cnd Annual - Third Place
March 2007 - Florida 12th Annual - tied for second place
          (lost head to head so   awarded third place trophy)
                     SHOOTOUT CHAMPION - BRIANNA

St Patrick's Day 2007 - Florida Invitational Coed Tournament - another tie for second place. Bumped to third for goals scored against. Among the wins was a 3-0 shut out against Cornwall's all male team.

May 2007 - the 6 week 3v3 mini league at Nirvana ends...Victoria Cipollina won team champion for the early session and Ciera Rivera won team champion for the late session.

June 2007 - GU10 division finalist with a record of 6-2-1.

October 14, 2007 _ Blue Lighning wins Quarter finals in state games. State game record so far:

             Round One - Blue Lightning 5
                   Long Beach Lightning 0

             Round Two - Blue Lightning 2
                        Sachem Alliance 1

             Quarter Finals - Blue Lightning 1
                        Terryville, Torino's 0

   FINAL OUTCOME:
             New York State 2008 semi-finalists
             New York state 2007 Open Sectional Champions

March 2, 2008 - Florida 13th annual Indoor Tournament: First place
                           SHOOT-OUT CHAMPIONSHIP:
                  Two North Rockland Girls, Bria and Natalie tied
                     as winners of the Shoot out
                  Trophy given to Bria for faster time

June, 2008 - Blue Lightning places third in their division of Spring season.

August 30, 2008 - Blue Lightning takes first place and remains unscored upon, in GU12 division at Yorktown Labor Day Tournament

November 2008 - Division Champions, Northern Counties
