JYB camps are designed to teach players the fundamental skills necessary for the many aspects of baseball.  Our goal is to foster a love of baseball in our players while developing their skills with knowledge and training.

Choose your date or attend both!  This camp will be for ages 6-12 and will be split into groups based on age and skill level.  All aspects of baseball fundamentals will be covered.  Click on the link below for a registration form.

Mike Ponio’s background:

Mike was a two-time All-American pitcher who played collegiate baseball at The University of Hawaii, Palomar JC in San Diego, and the University of Oklahoma. The Cincinnati Reds and Oakland Athletics drafted him professionally. Mike currently coaches his son’s 12 year-old team and also has a son who plays for his high school baseball team. Mike has been conducting camps for JYB for 7 years as well as private lessons for 18+ years.  He also works with teams, assisting with pitching mechanics and fundamentals.
