Over the Highs in Cleveland

Finishing The First Turn at the AAU J.O.'s 1999
Jeff surprised himself with the success he enjoyed in Ohio in an event he di not want to run "because I'm not good". Later he would thank his father for "making" him run this race. Intended to work on technique, this became the event that allowed Jeff to finally win a medal in National competion after 2 previous tries.

From Across the Track in the 400's
As evident from the spectator in blue, Jeff is not in the lead. He took off very conservativly and came back on the home stretch to take a sixth. Sixth in the country with a 58.5 clocking at the Junior Olympic Games held at Baldwin-Wallace College in Cleveland, Ohio.

CIF Division 1 Championships 5-20-00
Jeff (on the right in all blue)was leading the field over the first 5 hurdles, starting to lose it hereto Marcus Raines (blue over green). Jeff hit 7 & 8 hard finishing 3rd in 14.72.Raines finished in 14.19 and Chris Johnson (just visible to Raines' right) 2nd in 14.42.
