Jacksonville Beach Baseball Association: Spring 2013 Divisions
This is a developmental league for ages 4 to 6. When possible, the league will be divided into two divisions, Jr and Sr TBall. Players bat with a coach pitched ball or hit off of the tee. This league is meant to be a fun, instructional opportunity to teach players the basics of the game and how to be on a team.
Sr Tball Division
This is a developmental league for ages 4 to 6. When possible, the league will be divided into two divisions, Jr and Sr TBall. Players bat with a coach pitched ball or hit off of the tee. Machine Pitch Division
This is a developmental baseball league for ages 7-8. Players bat with a machine pitched ball. This league is a fundamental, inclusive opportunity for children to progress with the basics of the game.
Minors Division
The Minor League is structured for players ages 9-10. Players learn and develop pitching skills and will bat from a player pitched ball.
Majors/Intermediate Division
The Major/Intermediate League is structured for players aged 11-13. Players advance in pitching and fielding skills and will bat from a player pitched ball. This is a competitive League.
Notes for All Divisions:
Any player wishing to play in a division under the recommended age must notify JBBA in advance so that JBBA and the parents may, together, place the player in the appropriate division.
Any player wishing to advance a division before the recommended age listed must notify JBBA at the time of registration, player must attend the skills evaluation for the lowest age of the division requested and must be drafted onto a team in the division in the fifth round or before.
