Here are a few of them, they are also listed under the Message Board.

(A) Hello, I ran across your site about needing people to play on your softball team and I was wondering if you were still looking. I played for 9 years and it's been a little while since I've been on the field but I'm sure I'm still pretty decent. Please get backt to me when you can.

                Thanks!
                      C P (AWorldThatCantBe@aol.com)

(B) Our sponsor is going to be Route 1 Café, and yes I will be the point of contact. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.
J B (jbauer@capsulecom.com)

(C) The positions I primarily play are 1st and 3rd base. I can also play 2nd Base Catcher, and Outfield . I have played in the Softball America Slow Pitch league in Warrington PA for the past 2 years. I live in Southern New Jersey, so the ride to Warrington became a little too much each week. I am looking for a league a little closer to the Philadelphia area. If you can forward this message on to Mike Boyle, I would greatly appreciate it.

I can be contacted at my email - BigE1273@AOL.COM
or Eric.Mullin@AIG.COM

(D) hi, i'm very interested in joining your league currently we are in the piccoli league and not very happy with the commissioner, our team name is the warriors.

(E) Hello,
I am possibly interested in joining my team in this years softball
league. Is there still room available and how much does it cost?
Thanks for your time.
Bill (wgillespie@sjprep.org)

Playing stellar defense the entire series; combined with a potent offensive line up; Michael's Cafe deserved this Championship. the Penny Garden's Americans' team often showed No quit, but Michael's Cafe would make a timely play, or get a timely hit to keep the pressure on.
CONGRATULATIONS to a terrific Michael's Cafe team for an outstanding season. Congratulations to the Penny Garden's Americans Team for a great season also.

I am working on shirts, if they can be obtained in time there will be an additional fee for them. This will be a Great time to get to know the members of the League. The ALL STAR Game was a fixture in Jardel from 1971 until 1999. This is an attempt to rekindle some of the Jardel Magic.

CONGRATULATIONS TO MOLLY MAGUIRES AND HAMMERHEADS!
Molly Maguires made it to the finals in the Winners Bracket in the Tournament. Along the way they defeated last years Champs by a score of 9 to 6. Molly's finished in third place with a record of 2 and 2.
HammerHeads also played some terrific softball before falling to these defending champs. HammerHeads finished in fourth place with a 2 and 2 record. There was an unlimited number of home runs allowed with fences. It makes you wonder how those teams would have fared at Jardel's open fields.
Again Congratulations to both teams for being terrific representatives for the Jardel Softball League.

Fragile Franchises?
Are you having trouble getting your team together or getting players to a game? If any teams are having trouble please let me know. It has been suggested to me on 5/24/01 that (1) the Bandits may not be able to get enough players (2) Molly Maguires might not wish to continue in the league (3) Molly's Players could end up in a draft.
NOTE: As of 5/24/01 The Only team that is paid in full at this time is Molly Maguires. Please contact me as soon as possible with the status of your team.

Thanks or maybe even no thanks
Jardel

HammerHeads vs Penny Garden's Two game time is undecided!
Hello everyone, the GOOD news.. well the season is off and running. The BAD news.... Tonight's game between Penny Garden's Two and HammerHeads, originally scheduled for 8:15 on field 1... as of 4:40 PM I have not firmed up the requested game time of 6:45. There will be an umpire on field 2 early, I suggest that he also hang around and do the late game. We wanted 2 early games BUT I cannot confirm that Penny's is aware of this at this time. The other alternative is to send 2 umpires up to the field, but if Penny's doesn't show for 6:45, one ump would have to hang around until 8:15 anyway.
Again I am sorry for any inconveniances caused to anyone. Hope things get better.
jack

Jack

Great start to Millennium Softball. Congratulations to the entire squad, the team has shown the same consistency from opening day.

A reminder that the messgae board is here.
Hello all this is a reminder that there is a message board here. Look for it at THE BOTTOM of most pages. What would you use it for? Use it the same way that you would to speak out about something. GUESS WHAT? On Tuesday Aug 22, 2000 The Lights were fixed at Jardel. That's great BUT we are in the Finals now and NOT using field two. Is this Murphy's Law? I want to Thank everyone for ALL of their cooperation this year. Again another Great successful Year at Jardel.
