2008 ASA Mid-America Regional Championship 10U "B" - Jaguars Gold
Our 10U Gold Jaguars team has just qualified for the 'Age 10 and Under' National Tournament (Class B), by winning second place at our state tournament and second place at our four-state regional tournament. The National Tourney starts in two weeks and will be held in Rochester, Minnesota.

Another West High Senior is making it official. Sr. Brandi Haight will make it official, and will be signing with Indian Hills Community College to play softball next year!
There will be an official signing ceremony on Friday, January 18th at 3:30 in the West High Cafeteria.

One of our own will be making it official. Sr. Ryan Jehle will make it official, and will be signing with Indian Hills Community College to play softball next year!

West High recommends Coach Jeff Kelley for Varsity Softball Coach Position!
West High announced that Jeff Kelley has accepted the posistion of Head Softball Coach!
Coach Kelley coached at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa for 11 years. During his tenure, the team went to the National Tournament 10 out of 11 years! In addition while he was at Indian Hills he coached 27 All-Americans and his 1999 squad set a National Record with 110 homeruns in a season! Now that is very respectable!
There are a few of us that have had the chance to meet Coach Kelley ... and we all feel he will be bringing a TON of EXCITEMENT to the West High Softball Program!
