WELCOME!!!! To the Semi-pro Cheerleading HQ of Jackson
Within the United States, Canada, and Mexico is over 500 minor league/semi-professional football franchises. Football organizations are located in Maine, Hawaii, Texas, Indiana, Florida, and nearly every other state that you want to name. This does not include the handfull of semi-professional basketball franchises.
Going along with some of, NOT ALL OF, these franchises are cheerleading squads.
Presently Jackson has THREE semi-pro squads, not including those of the past. This site is dedicated to promoting the semi-professional cheerleading squads of past and present.

NEW COACH NAMED
|
Dawn Marie Lewis, a graduate of Eaton Rapids High School, has been selected to be the Vice-President of Cheerleading/Head Coach for the Jackson Sports & Entertainment family of teams. The Jackson Sports & Entertainment family of teams includes the Michigan Jayhawks semi-pro football franchise, the Jackson Tidal Wave semi-pro basketball franchise, and Jackson Lightning semi-pro soccer franchise.
Dawn's high school coach was former Jackson Bombers Cheerleader, Anne Potter who was also the Assistant Vice-President of Marketing on Fillmore's marketing staff in 2002. "We had two very good candidates for the position. It was very much a toss up on who to select. Throughout the process, and in fact the development of JSE, Dawn has proven to be very dedicated." |

The Jackson Sports and Entertainment family of franchises, which includes the Michigan
Jayhawks semi-pro football franchise, Jackson Tidal Wave semi-pro basketball franchise,
and Jackson Lightning semi-pro soccer franchises, is looking for ladies 18 years of age or
older interested in becoming members of their cheerleading squad.

LADY JAGS - Jackson Jaguar Cheerleaders
Official cheerleaders for the Jackson Jaguars semi-pro football team.
The Jaguars were members of the Michigan Football League (1995-1996)
JACKSON BOMBERS CHEERLEARS (2001-2004)
For four years the NEW Jackson Bombers semi-pro football organization, owned by Mr. John Gose, had their own cheerleading squad (2001-2004).
After seven seasons, the Jackson Bombers folded after the 2004 season (seven seasons of action).
During their four years, the Jackson Bombers cheerleaders had for Directors/Coaches. In 2001 Mary Wood was Director and Sarah Wood was Head Coach. In 2002 Rachael Cardwell was Director/Head Coach. And in 2003 and 2004 Nicole Turner was Director/Head Coach. Only one cheerleader, Brandi Ross, cheered all four seasons.
BOMB SQUAD - 1994 Jackson Bombers
Coached by Kim Thompson, members of the "Bomb Squad" included
Kristen Lathers, Cari Rockwell, Kimberly Soper, Christy Pratt, Adrienne Tash, Jessica Bedell, Jenni Heyden, Betsy Branigan, Sarah Thompson, Jama Fenstemaker, Sara Rockwell, and Jessica Cobb
Many became members of the Jackson Jaguars in 1995.
Kimberly Soper was a finalist for the Carolina Panthers (NFL) squad in 1996
