The seventh annual Jack-O-Lantern Jog was a huge success, raising over $28,000 for the Canon McMillan Scholarship Foundation to share with the 2012 graduating seniors. We would like to offer a special thank you to the following groups:

Mark your calendars now for the eighth annual Jack-O-Lantern Jog, which will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Central Van & Storage, 595 Meadowlands Blvd. in North Strabane Township, PA at 9:00 a.m.
Events include
- The 5K Jack-O-Lantern Jog Race/Walk
- The 1 Mile Skeleton Stroll Fun Run/Walk
The 5K will use the same course as last year. We are extremely grateful to CENTRAL VAN LINES for allowing us to use their facility. The CENTRAL VAN LINES warehouse is located at the Johnson Road end of Meadowlands Blvd.
The 5K will be professionally scored by Miles of Smiles Timing Service, and awards will be given to top overall finishers as well as age groups, masters, and heavyweights.
Fun awards will be given to the first participant to enter, middle of the pack finisher, oldest participant, youngest participant and participant coming to the event from the farthest distance. Random $100 savings bonds will be drawn for K-12 participants.
The Skeleton Stroll will be fun and wacky with giveaways along the course and surprises - don't miss it!! You can run or walk - all ages are welcome and yes, you can bring strollers and wagons for the little ones.
The raffle will be huge. There will be grand prizes and over 50 prizes on the Chinese-auction-style table. Grand prizes will be drawn at the end of the race, and winners must be present to win. Chinese auction winners will be drawn during the race and posted. The year's prizes include many outstanding prizes. Winners must be present to claim prize.
Enter Early - Pre-registration entries are guaranteed a professionally designed, quality t-shirt, race goodie bag AND best of all, TEN (10) more raffle tickets than day-of-race entries. Every year, the Jack-O-Lantern Jog gets bigger and better! This year's event is our 7th anniversary. There will be more prizes, more food, and more everything to celebrate. Please mark your calendars to join us, and don't forget your costumes! Don't miss the 2012 event - it will be GREAT!!
