WELCOME TO THE 2013 CFL SEASON

  CFL is a great organization to be part of and a member of Brazos Valley Football Association. We believe the defference between ORDINARY and EXTRAORDINARY is that little "extra".

Our goal is:
To help develope our youth into future community leaders.
To teach good sportsmanship and important safety of the game.
To develope maturity, teamwork, organization and personal integrity in our youth.
To motivate our youth to develope their physical skills and to achieve their highest goals possible. 

  Coaches meeting for tonight has been cancelled due to CISD school early release. We will post new date here when it is rescheduled. 

CFL Cheer Planning Meeting 

When: 5/16/2013 @ 7:00 PM

Where: Caddo Street Grill

CFL Cheer will be hosting it's final planning meeting tomorrow evening to discuss the upcoming season. Areas covered during this meeting will include uniform styles, pricing and cheer coaching opportunities. Anyone interested in coaching cheer or has kids interested in cheering this season is encouraged to attend. This will be the final meeting before uniform selections are finalized!

***CFL HEAD COACHES WANTED***

CHS YELLOW JACKETS HEAD FOOTBALL COACH JEFF MERKET AND HIS STAFF WILL BE HOSTING A COACHES CLINIC FOR ALL CFL COACHES ON 5/21/13 FROM 6PM-8PM IN THE INDOOR FACILITY AT THE HIGH SCHOOL. ANYONE INTERESTED IN COACHING OR ASSISTANT COACHING A TEAM FLAG-MAJOR MUST ATTEND. IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT COACHING IN THE FALL YOU SHOULD STILL ATTEND THIS SESSION. THIS CLINIC WILL COVER AREAS SUCH AS FUNDAMENTAL POSITON DRILLS, PRACTICE PLANNING, TEACHING PROPER TECNIQUES, ETC. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THIS CLINIC BUT ARE INTERESTRED IN COACHING/ ASSISTING A TEAM PLEASE CONTACT KEITH LEDWIG @ 817-648-1988 OR MICHAEL ARTHURS @ 817-739-3105 ASAP. ALL HEAD COACH APPLICANTS MUST BE APPROVED BY CFL BOARD PRIOR TO BEGINING OF EACH SEASON.
