UCA Camp Day 2 Day two was our first big test of working as a team and taking it to the next level. Our girls were extremely spirited on Day 2. No complaining the entire camp by anyone that they were tired, sore or did not want to do something. All of your hard work and determination paid off that night ladies as you were awarded TOP BANANA!!!!!!!!
The girls were evaluated on their sidelines on day 2 and received a superior ribbon as well as their cheer where they also received a superior ribbon.
After the day was done and the injured were bandaged up, the girls headed to Club UCA where they had a little fun.

UCA Camp Day 3 Day 3 - WE WERE THE ROCKIN SQUAD. To start off the morning on Day 3, the staff and a few coaches put on a Sports Rally. Of course you know Marice and I were part of the sports rally. Our girls won the crowd over with their IV Football Jerseys and their sporting game of touch football. THANKS COACH SHEARER and the IVE football team for lending us the jerseys. Not only did they win over the staff with a game of football, their spirit and energy won them THE ROCKIN SQUAD award which was a HUGE oversized beach ball. WAY TO GO GIRLS! We were proud of you.
All day on day three, the staff kept coming up to the coaches and telling us what a talented and amazing squad we have. Megan, the one staff member, brought a tear to my eyes a few time telling me what an amazing basket tosses we have and how well our squad worked together and how we listened to the coaches and staff.
Stunting class was an amazing time. Even without one of our members to stunt do to her banana injury, this did not slow us down. How could it with our own little MINI UCA staff on the squad.
We ended the night with our Extreme Routine Evals and All Star tryouts. We received a Superior Ribbon for our Extreme Routine. The only one in our section to get one. In addition, we had six amazing and talented girls tryout for all stars.
At this point it had been two long days but the girls never lost their energy or spirit. WAY TO GO! The water balloon battle helped take the fun into the night as the girls gathered for pizza and reflection.
One more day to go. I know they are going to keep the energy going.

The girls knew they only had a few short hours left and the energy and excitement we has showed all camp never died.
The girls came out and NAILED both of their routines for camp champs.
There were seven varsity squads that attended camp this year. On the final day, the girls were awarded second place in the home routine evaluation, Camp Champs and a bid to the Capital One Bowl for there cheer, fourth place for the extreme routine, two all stars, two members asked to tryout for staff and last but one of the most important TOP BANANA for the entire week.
These girls were amazing and had an awesome time at camp. BE PROUD!
