Important Notice: We DO NOT recommend you park along the outfield fence of the Senior Baseball Field. As always, parking throughout the entire complex is at your own risk.

The Parade will kick off at 12 noon.
Players age 9-12 are to meet on Field 1 at 11:45 am.
Players age 5-8 will meet on the Senior Field at 11:45am to march in the parade.
5 yr olds = left field
6 yr olds = center field
7 yr olds = right field
8 yr olds - behind 1st base (on the grass)
Instr. Softball = behind 3rd base (on the grass)
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR TEAM BANNER
WITH YOU for the BANNER CONTEST!
Keep in mind for the Banner Contest that store bought banners will not be judged.
Parents and Guests are to line up along fences to cheer the players on.
The parade will end on Field 1 where we will have our Opening Day Ceremony.
(Players will not be allowed off field 1 until the conclusion of the ceremony.)
The first set of games will start approx. 1 pm.
The concession will be open.
Apparel will be on sale.

-Please make sure your car is locked and windows are up.
-If you double park, leave a field # on the windshield or cell phone so the person you are blocking can get out.
-No pets allowed.
-If you park on the hill leading down to the complex you are at risk of being ticketed.

Cancellation/Rescheduling of games will be posted.

(Red Light: Games/Practices are OFF or STOPPED)
 
UMPIRES WANTED FOR 2018 SEASON
     Males and females 13 years of age and older are wanted for the Umpire Program. Applicant must be 13 years of age or older by August 31, 2018.
     There is no cost for classes. Ten classes are held in the Islip Library during an approximate 10 week period. Classes will start January 31st. Also, we will have training sessions on calling balls and strikes.
     Upon passing the course, where the passing grade is 70%, umpire pants are required to be purchased. Hats, shirts, sweatshirts and equipment are supplied by the league. Umpires must be available during the week and also weekends. If school or senior ball is played, a schedule can be worked out.

ATTENTION PARENTS AND YOUNG ADULTS OLDER THAN 18

The Little League of the Islips is looking for volunteers.

There are several ways you can help keep this organization and complex at its best. For the new season we are looking to add staff to our Ladies Auxiliary, Complex Maintenance Group and we are always in need of coaches. (Remember, unlike other towns, the volunteers at Islip Little League maintain the entire facility and its events all year round)

Our regular season is approximately 8 weeks long. Even if you can only volunteer for an hour or two a week it is greatly appreciated.

Volunteering is an excellent way to help our local children, see how our league runs and to help the future of this great organization, The Little League of the Islip.

ISLIP AND EAST ISLIP SENIORS.


 
*** PARKING REGULATIONS *** 

1. Please do not block field entrances and  NEVER BLOCK GATES as these may be needed to provide ambulance access in the event of an emergency. Remember, in an emergency EVERY SECOND COUNTS

2. Parking on "The Hill" leading into the main entrance is prohibited. Cars parked there may be ticketed or towed.  

3. All parking is At Your Own Risk. Please do not leave valuables in your car unattended
