WILMINGTON COLLEGE KIWANIS CLASSIC
Wilmington College mens team has invited our players to attend the Annual Kiwanis Classic. This college tournament will be Friday, Sept.12 and Saturday, Sept. 13 at Wilmington College. Two games friday night and two games Saturday night. Our players will be able to get in for free and get to view some great soccer played at it's highest level. Teams from Kenyon, Hope and Bethany College will compete as well as Wilmingtons College. First game starts at 5:00pm both nights with the 2nd game slated for a 7:30pm kickoff. INFERNO SC TO ATTEND FOREST PARK STAR INVITATIONAL
Mark your calendars now for October 25-26, 2008. All teams of the Inferno Soccer Club will be attending this tournament. The Forest Park Invitational is the longest running tournament in Cincinnati, OH. This is the 37th year for the tournament. It will be a great way for us to wrap up our season. INFERNO SC FIRE 94 - BOYS U-13 - LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
Our Boys U-13 team the Inferno SC Fire 94 have won 1st place in their MVYSA league play this Spring 08 Season. The boys locked up first place by handing the Eaton Eagles a 6-2 loss tonight. The boys finished their season at 9-1-0 and have posted 48 goals to 11 goals against. Great job boys!!!!
INFERNO U-15 AND U-16 GIRLS TO COMPETE AT LONGABERGER SHOOTOUT
The Inferno SC Flames 92 Black and the Inferno SC Flames 91 Black, our girls U-15 and U-16 teams will compete at the Longaberger Shootout Tournament on May 10 - 11. This prestigious tournament is held at the pristine Longaberger Homestead Soccer Complex near Dresden, OH. and is maintained by the renowned Longaberger Turf Management Co. This will be an overnight stay during this tournament for our two teams. If you want more info on this tournament please click on the headline above.
INFERNO SC ATTEND CONNOR SENN MEMORIAL GAME: OSU vs COLUMBUS CREW
The Ohio State men's soccer team hosted the Columbus Crew in the Connor Senn Memorial Match at 7p.m. April 29 in Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Our youth players received the opportunity to walk out onto the playing field with the starting lineups from both squads during the pre-game festivities. A great time was had by all of our players and families for a great cause. The Inferno SC would like to thank Coach Ron Carpenter and R & L Carriers for their support to this game and to their continued support to our club.

SWINGLE AND RHOADS TO PLAY FOR WILMINGTON COLLEGE
The Inferno Soccer Club is proud to announce that two of our U-18 players have comitted to attend and play soccer for Wilmington College. Adam Swingle and Stephanie Rhoads have both decided to continue their soccer careers and play for the powerhouse Quakers. Adam will play for the mens team under Bud Lewis and Stephanie for the womens team under the tutelage of Steve Spirk beginning this Fall 2008. An open-house was held last night for them with their families and many of the Inferno SC coaching staff on hand. The Inferno SC is extremely proud of both of you!!
INFERNO SC ADDS BUD LEWIS TO COACHING STAFF
The Inferno SC is pleased to announce the addition of Bud Lewis to our coaching staff. Bud will coach and train our Boys U-18 team the Inferno SC Fire 89 this Spring 08 season. Bud just completed his 33rd season at the helm of one of the nation's most succesful and respected programs as the head coach of Wilmington College mens team. With 433 career victories, Lewis is the seventh-winningest coach in NCAA III history, and only the 18th coach among all NCAA soccer coaches to reach the 400-victory plateau. A perrenial top-20 team, Lewis' Quakers have captured 11 conference championships and made 10 national tournament appearances. We are very proud and thankful to add Coach Lewis to the Inferno family.

INFERNO SC OUTING AT OHIO STATE
On Saturday October 27th the Inferno SC attended the Ohio State vs Michigan game at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. A great time was had by all. Before the game the teams, players, parents and coaches tailgated in the parking lot. There was plenty of fantastic food and games and some of the players even played a pick-up game on the Ohio State practice field(until we got ran off). The players got to go field side before the game to welcome both teams onto the field as they walked out onto the pitch. Some of our players were ball boys during the game and after the match we stuck around for autographs. We would like to thank Ohio State Buckeyes Assistant Coach, Andy Brinkman for the invite. The Buckeyes won 1-0 in an overtime thriller.
