Ironclub Racing & Adventures Team
The Ironclub was formed to give multisport athletes & adventurous an opportunity to meet, train and race with like minded people. From everyday folks who occasionally swim, bike and run to full blown hardcore athletes looking to beat personal records and conquer some of the world's toughest races. You don't have to be an Ironman to be part of the team you just have to want to have fun!
Ironclub members believe in giving back to those who need it most. We appreciate the abilities we have been given and believe we can make a difference in this world. As a club we have raised well over $400,000.00 for various charities by participating in some of the hardest races in the world. Our core is based on giving back and we will always help out for a good cause. We take pride in doing what others say is impossible! This is not a requirment to be part of the team it's just something we do.
Putting the team spirit into this solitary sport, Ironclub athletes thrive on esprit de corps, accomplishment, mutual respect and love for the sports we play and give back to others becasue we can.
Come find out what we're about. Join us in one of our group workouts/adventures, or just email us and say hello. There are no judgments or fees to join the Ironclub!
You just have to want to have fun and TRI IT!! Remember, please race responsibly!!!
Support our Troops!
The above flag was carried to the top of the Grand Teton mountain on 8/4/08. That flag was flown over a US Marine base in Iraq on 5/12/07. We have sent this photo to our troops as a small way of saying thanks and to let them know we appreciate all that they do and allow us to have the lives we have.
The flag came across the finish line at Ironman USA Lake Placid NY on 7/20/08 and onto Mt Rushmore, Yellowstone Park. Several police and fire depts including the LA Counrty Sheriff's Montrose Search & Rescue have taken thank you pictures with the flag and were sent overseas.
These pictures and others have been sent back to out troops as a small way of saying thanks.
Freedom isn't free but saying thanks is!
I have started a "Heroes for Heroes Thank You Campaign" where I am having police, fire depts and miltary personal past or present take photo's with the flag. A small way of saying we support you and thanks! These photo's are then sent overseas to out troops.
My goal is have as many police, fire depts and miltary personal that i can get that are interested in sending a small "Heroes for Heroes" thank you.
If you are interested in particapating please feel free to contact me at jdcironman@earthlink.net
