EAST VS WEST ALL STAR GAME IN RIPLEY I want to say congrats to the guys who represented the Ohio Invaders in Ripley: Mike Groomes (#14), Bubby Thomas (#86), Mike Brown (#60, #70 for game), Randy Brewster (#73, #68 for game), Danny Skalecki (#1, #21 for game), CJ Jackson (#2, #1 for game - did not play - shoulder injury), James Hamilton (#95, #33 for game) and Boobie Parker (#22). Congrats to Bubby for receiving the Sportsmanship award and both he and Boobie played well enough to have earned the East MVP award, but the local Black Bears QB received that. The East won 26-16 over the West and all of the Invaders players had an awesome game and represented us well!!
NAFL ALL STAR GAME IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA The NAFL Commissioner has asked that we remind the all star players that they must register online - this includes first team players. If you do not register, they will not have a jersey waiting for you in Atlanta. ALL players must go online and register, and they want it done TODAY. Since the season has come to an end, we are trying to get all our equipment accounted for and in order and have found that we have some missing jerseys.
We have always been honest and fair owners and have given the team everything promised each season, and we expect that same courtesy in return from each player. We advised the players that if anyone wanted to purchase their jerseys at the end of this season to see us. I don't know whether there is/was a misunderstanding of the terms but the jerseys were $30 each, or $60 for the set. Below is a list of missing jersey numbers and who they were assigned to at the last game of the season. If your name is on the list, please contact us asap to either return your jersey, or to make a payment to the organization for its property.

Wednesday, November 5 DVD'S AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
Coach Randy Brewster will be selling the Invaders 2008 season on DVD. They will be $40 for the 10 game set, and $7 for individual games. Orders will only be done at this time for the full season, with individual games being available at a later time. INVADERS VISIT TO RAINBOW HOSPITAL On Saturday 4-19-08, Invader players Randy Brewster, Reggie McCory, Todd Pitts, Bubby Thomas, and Chris Coleman, along with Mark and Steph Clement were able to donate our time and spend an afternoon with some of the children at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland. Due to the generosity of our teammates, as well as Perry school students, we did not go empty-handed - donating over $800 in items for the patients. Autographed photos of the guys were personalized for the children and passed out as well as Invader t-shirts to the children on that floor. *photos were not able to be taken of the children due to patient privacy/confidentiality without the written permission of the parent. *click on the picture below to view more photos*

The Ohio Invaders became Partners In Hope through WGAR's Radiothon on 2/15/08 committing to make monthly donations for St Judes Childrens's Research Hospital. St Judes takes care of children with cancer and other catastophic diseases. All children accepted for treatment at St. Jude are treated without regard to the family's ability to pay - no one pays for treatment beyond what is covered by insurance, and those without insurance are never asked to pay.
